The Sims 4

Backstory

I've been playing The Sims for over a decade, and I felt this project was the perfect opportunity to showcase the game's silliness and charm by creating a how-to video that I could imagine my Sims watching.

Challenges

I don't typically use the in-game camera or recording feature in The Sims 4, so I faced a lot of trial and error learning how to use it. I encountered audio issues while screen recording the footage, and overcoming the technical learning curve with both the game and Adobe Premiere Pro took the most time.

Additionally, I had to intentionally create about 10 kitchen fires for the perfect shot, which added fuel to the fire.

The Task

Create a video that explains how to do something, whether it's a physical task or an abstract concept. Pick a topic you care about and explain its significance. Be creative with your approach, using any style that suits your message.
